On a stormy night, a funeral wake. A cross dresser settles scores with the widow of the deceased. Was Pierre, her husband, hiding a secret? Among the crowd: a German teacher, old pious ladies, ballerinas in tutus, a gigantic opera singer — in short, the kind of people one encounters throughout life. And colourful umbrellas, everywhere! As if nothing made sense, as if everything were just an exquisite corpse… like the parlor game.
