In Your Palm

בכף ידך

Israel, 2021, 2 minutes, English without translation

“There is only a breath in this moment in your palm”.
And unsurprisingly, this song was written about a moment of a hand resting on a knee of a newly lesbian couple, while watching an Israeli lesbian movie in the cinema.

Director: Alma Kalbermann, Eden Beck
Script: Alma Kalbermann, Eden Beck
Producer: Alma Kalbermann
Animation: Eden Beck

Tipul Hamara

טיפול המרה

Israel, 2023, 7 minutes, Hebrew without translation

“Conversion Therapy” tells the story of Yaakov Levi, an ultra-Orthodox man who prefers shekels over dollars. His community rejects him and tries to convert him to like dollars.
It’s a satire and protest clip about conversion therapies that are still practiced in Israel.

With: Elad Sananes, Erez Oved, Alon Lior, Moti Kdoshim, Ben Pstarnek, Tair Chvika, Ori Saada

Be Fake

Israel, 2024, 4 minutes, English without translation

“Be Fake”
is an innovative video art project blending artificial intelligence with drag artistry. Starring Nona Chalant, it showcases impossible looks, and challenges perceptions of identity and authenticity in the digital age, blurring the lines between human creativity and advanced technology.

Ambatya (Bathtub)

אמבטיה

Israel, 2024, 4 minutes, Hebrew without translation

In “Ambatya” (Bathtub), Yuval Gilboa’s first clip, a gay relationship is presented, perhaps romantic, perhaps casual and friendly. Through the bathtub curtains, the clip creates an entire world in which everything is possible – soap bubbles, shadows, lights and dance – and they all help to alleviate the loneliness of the two, even if for a short time.

Director: Guy Hazam
Script: Guy Hazam
Producer: Guy Hazam
With: Yuval Gilboa, Lev Vladislav Sheinberg

The Struggle for Equality

למה אין ללהט”ב שוויון

Israel, 2024, 2 minutes, Hebrew without translation

This pride clip was created during the ongoing war, reflecting the struggle and discrimination the queer community faces, especially during the war. It provides an artistic platform for protest, highlighting the absurdity that while members of the LGBTQ community sacrifice their lives in battle, the government perpetuates inequality and discrimination.

Director: Erez Oved
Script: Erez Oved
Producer: Shira Magen
With: Erez Oved, Ilona Harpaz, Leeshay Salman

“Aviv Shriki – “Miracle

אביב שריקי – “נס”

Israel, 2024, 3 minutes, Hebrew without translation

“Miracle” delves into the hidden aspects of ourselves – the parts we often avoid but are essential for true growth, development, and happiness. Like shadows, they linger, unnoticed yet ever-present, quietly asking for recognition and expression. These parts don’t fade; instead, they intensify, demanding attention in any way they can, saying, “I am here.” When we finally have the courage to face these darker parts of ourselves, walls fall, and a healthier, truer present begins to take shape.

Director: Roy Kanevsky
Script: Roy Kanevsky
Producer: Roy Kanevsky
With: Aviv Shriki

From Afar

מרחוק

Israel, 2024, 4 minutes, Hebrew without translation

Two boys playing “the game”. One is stuck in the game and can’t get out, the other wants intimacy, but looks for it in the fantasy.

Director: Liel Simon
Script: Yoav Tauman
Producer: Noa Waxman
With: Yoav Tauman, Gil Sari

Sheda (Demoness)

שדה

Israel, 2018, 4 minutes, Hebrew without translation

“Sheda” (she-demon) is a story of first love, of a closet, of a room versus the outside, of questions, of a taste for much more. Everything we know and love about being lesbians at the beginning of the journey, with the difficulties and the grace.

Director: Alma Kalbermann
Producer: Alma Kalbermann
Script: Alma Kalbermann
With: Amber Koter, Maya Rapaport

Reshima

רשימה (אתה לא רוצה להיות בה)

Israel, 2003, 3 min, Hebrew

After many failed election rounds in pre-war Israel, Tom Schneid, the gay creator, rapper and activist decides to run for parliament.
“Reshima” (List) is a response to homophobic voices in the Knesset, and was released directly after the infamous anti-LGBTQ political party “Noam” led by Avi Maoz released their “List of known LGBTs in the media” – a brutal campaign against queer people, who were accused of “taking over Israel”.
The song is a diss-track that was released with a full on satirical political campaign.

Director: Tom Schneid
