After a divorce and a layoff from a prestigious job, 52-year-old Nicole’s life is far from what she imagined. She moves from a bourgeois neighborhood to a poor immigrant housing estate in the far suburbs of Paris and the only light in her life is her 19-year-old son, Serge, but he is fed up with his needy mother whom he can no longer tolerate. Nicole’s situation worsens when her checkbook and credit card are canceled. A meeting with Nora, the owner of the local bar, finally provides Nicole with some comfort. But can Serge cope with the change his mother is going through?
French/Italian cinema icon with Jewish roots, Valeria Bruni Tedeschi (star of François Ozon’s films: “The Time That Remains”, “Summer of ’85”, “5X2”) plays Nicole with great passion, while Lubna Azabal (“The Blue Caftan”, “Incendies”) as Nora plays a character full of insight and wisdom.

The year is 1977 and Miguel is going to be the first one in his family to go to university. But Miguel has different dreams: to become a singer and take part in a popular TV competition. He’s exposed to social activists, finds himself doing drag in underground clubs and becomes an activist himself, all this in secret and against the will of his mother Reme, a 50 year-old woman, who works as a seamstress in a luxury suits shop.
In the 70’s homosexuality was still taboo in Spain, the police regularly used violence against the LGBTQ community and being associated with the gay community was an offence that could get you in jail. When Miguel is caught in drag by the police, his conservative mother decides to step up and join Miguel’s friends – other activists from the gay community, to fight the police, the court and the government in order to make Spain a better place.
In his debut film, director Alejandro Marín manages to get into the hearts of his audience with a thrilling and sweeping dramedy on the right to love. A film that is a salute to all those who fought and are still fighting to live in a liberal country with equal rights and no fear.
The film’s original name, “Te estoy amando locamente” (“I love you madly”), refers to the power of mother’s love to her son, and therefore it is also a film that honors all the mothers that support their LGBTQ children, and even if sometimes it’s hard for them, they would fight for their sons and daughters till the end.

A restored copy of the first full-length American documentary made by LGBT people about Pride parades in the United States.
In 1977 one of the pioneers of gay cinema filmmakers, Arthur J. Bressan Jr., recruited film crews across the country to document Pride parades in San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Diego, and Philadelphia.
The film also includes rare footage from the first New York Pride parade in 1970 and the first San Francisco parade in 1972, as well as interviews with activists and participants. The film illustrates the anger of the LGBT community in the wake of Anita Bryant’s homophobic campaign and the hate crimes against the community that followed. At the same time, the film also illustrates the immense power and importance of the parades.
“Gay USA” offers a spectacular, vibrant, and beautiful collage of an incredible year in history of the gay community. The film conveys a strong message of hope and also of the victorious power of love.

After fifteen years of living together, on an impulse, he decides to ask his partner to marry him in Las Vegas. His anticipation for the dream wedding and trip is crushed when his partner’s answer is ‘No’. David decides to power through with his plans and now he has ten days to find the knight in shining armor that will marry him in Las Vegas.
The story is inspired by true events from the director’s own life.

During the filming of her previous movie, director Yolande Zauberman heard a story of a young transgender woman who fled from Gaza after death threats based on her gender identity and came to Tel Aviv to live as her true self. Several years later Yolande Zauberman returns to Tel Aviv to look for her. While searching for the mysterious young woman she meets several Palestinian and Israeli trans women, some doing sex work and some other temp jobs, all of them reaching for their dreams in their own way.
The film “The Belle from Gaza” is a celebratory hymn to women who fight daily on that ever so dangerous line between Gaza and Tel Aviv just so that they could be themselves. “The Belle from Gaza” is a brave cinematic piece that puts a mirror in front of reality and offers images of struggles for self acceptance in a sad reality that is all conflict and oppression.
