מהבמאית של סרט הגייז הפולני המעולה “בשם…”, שהוקרן בישראל בשנת 2013, מגיע סרט חדש היישר מהתחרות הרשמית של פסטיבל ונציה 2023 בהקרנת טרום בכורה ארצית: “אישה…”.
על רקע המעבר מקומוניזם לקפיטליזם בפולין, הסרט משתרע על פני 45 שנים מחייה של אניאלה ווסולי ומסעה למציאת חירות אישית כאישה טרנסג’נדרית. היא מתמודדת עם קשיים בחיי המשפחה ועם סביבה שאיננה מוכנה להכיר בה. אילו בחירות אניאלה תצטרך לעשות כדי לחיות כמי שהיא באמת?

על העמותה
עמותת פרויקט גילה להעצמה טרנסית (ע”ר טרנסג’נדרים למען צדק חברתי) הוקמה בשנת 2010 על ידי קבוצת אקטיביסטיות שפעלו יחד בפריפריה הכלכלית-חברתית-גיאוגרפית. העמותה נקראת על שם גילה גולדשטיין ז”ל, שחקנית, אמנית, עובדת מין ומהפעילות הראשונות של הקהילה הטרנסית בישראל.
העמותה לוקחת חלק בעיצוב ושינוי מדיניות, הנגשת ידע, והעברת הכשרות. ב-2022 הקימה את המרכז הטרנסי, המרכז הקהילתי-שירותי הראשון בישראל לקהילה הטרנסית. מטרות העמותה הן קידום שוויון זכויות עבור הקהילה והעצמה אישית וקהילתית, מתוך אמונה עמוקה שחופש וגיוון מגדרי הופכים כל חברה לטובה יותר לכולם.

“Miracle” delves into the hidden aspects of ourselves – the parts we often avoid but are essential for true growth, development, and happiness. Like shadows, they linger, unnoticed yet ever-present, quietly asking for recognition and expression. These parts don’t fade; instead, they intensify, demanding attention in any way they can, saying, “I am here.” When we finally have the courage to face these darker parts of ourselves, walls fall, and a healthier, truer present begins to take shape.

Bar 51
Amos Guttman’s second feature film tells the story of a brother and sister from the country, who decide to find their luck in the big city Tel Aviv after the death of their mother. They meet Apollonia, the owner of a sleazy joint called “Bar 51”, who employs them at the bar, mostly because of her strong attraction to the brother, who in turn, is secretly in love with his own sister.
Apollonia is played by Ada Valerie Tal, the first Israeli transgender actress, and her character is based on Gila Goldstein, who used to perform at the real “Bar 51”.
“Bar 51” is a stylish creation that reminds of the early works of Fassbinder and Almodóvar.
Contains depictions of violence, including sexual assault and self harm.
