For the first time on the big screen in Israel, Wieland Speck’s award winning film. The film was secretly shot in Eastern Germany and portrays the love story of Felix from West Germany, who falls in love with Thomas, who lives on the other side of the wall. The two become friends during Felix’s visit to the eastern part of Berlin. Their relationship develops, and every Monday night Felix crosses the wall to the east to spend the day with Thomas. As the visits become more frequent, the East Germany authorities become suspicious. The unique footage conditions create a general feeling of paranoia, and despite difficulties and limitations the result is impressive. The emphasis on the quality of sound and of course the music from the period and the 80s fashion, turn this important film into an exciting and unforgettable experience.
