Jonah Markowitz's first feature is a modest and effective family drama which has won numerous awards including the Outstanding First Dramatic Feature award at the Los Angeles LGBT film festival, Best Film and Best Actor (Trevor Wright) at the Texas LGBT film festival and the First Time Director award at the Philadelphia LGBT film festival. Zach lives in a peaceful and tranquil surfers town in California. Although all his friends go to college, Zach has given up on his painting aspirations. He has to take care of his family members: his sick father, his unstable sister and little nephew who treats him as if he were his father. When Sean (Brad Rove, Billy Hollywood Screen Kiss) comes back to town after spending years trying to be a scriptwriter in Hollywood, a serious romance develops between the two, which will lead Zach to some important decisions, affecting those around him and changing his life.
