The three flowers in Zero Chou's new movie are three women: a girl, a young woman and an adult lady. Each is looking for her true identity, and their stories are confidently woven together by the hand of an artist. They take place in times of tides, as love appears and disappears. In the first story the eight year old Meigo discovers the bittersweet taste of first love as she enviously looks at her blind sister kissing Chaikie, her accompanying accordionist. In the second story, Lily suffers from early symptoms of Alzheimer's disease. Her separated husband Yen returns home after many years, hiding a great tragic secret which will change their lives. In the third story we go back to Chaikie's story before she became an accordionist, when she was still a high school student in her native village, a confused girl who used to conceal her breasts using cloths, despite harassments from her family. Directress Zero Chou creates a unique cinematic experience, shot in daring colors, with an excellent performance by Chao Yi-lan.
