Official Selection of the Berlin international film festival in 2007, and nominated for best queer film. This is Hee-il Leesong's first feature. Lee Su-min has a day job at a factory in Seoul, with an extra job as a driver at nights. During his night job he meets a rich and drunk young man named Song Jae-min, who tries to seduce him. The young man turns out to be the son of the owner of the factory where Lee works in the morning. After being fired from his job, Lee finds himself working as an exotic dancer in a gay nightclub. One night Song appears at the club and the relationship between poor Lee and rich Song – on his way to a fixed marriage – reaches a turning point. Will their relationship survive the class difference? No Regret starts out as a personal story, turns into a sexy drama and evolves into a violent thriller. The film was very accurately shot with an emphasis on erotic aesthetics and surprisingly original comic moments.
