With screenings at Sundance and Berlin 2008, scandalous director Bruce LaBruce's sixth feature film is coming to Israel. This time, the zombie genre takes a step forward, fresh with a deep and even moving queer interpretation. A young zombie named Otto appears on a distant highway. He has no idea where he's come from or where he's going to. He hitch hikes to Berlin and moves into an abandoned amusement park. In his spare time he walks around town, and in one of his rounds, having escaped a violent group of youngsters, he sees an audition ad for a zombie film by a lesbian underground directress named Medea. She decides to cast him to the main part in a pornographic zombie film starred by Fritz Fritz (porn movie star Marcel Schlutt). Limited to ages 18 and up. Jürgen Bruning & Klaus Matthes, producers of "Otto", are special guests at this year's festival.
