When Sebastian meets Andreas for the first time, he knows immediately that they belong together. While Sebastian defies norms of gender and does not hide his androgynous gender fluidity which undermines everything that society sees as normal, Andreas tries to deal with the fact that for the first time he is attracted someone of the same sex. As their relationship deepens, Sebastian becomes more and more determined to change her sex and be called “Ally”, even if it means losing her beloved. “Something Must Break” is an electrifying cinematic work which examines questions of gender and sexuality from a bold and fresh perspective. Limited to ages 18 and up due to the sex scenes and nudity. In association with the Embassy of Sweden
