Dir: Benjamin Cantu
Marco is a shy student living on an agricultural farm in Southern Germany, avoiding any eye contact with girls. He’d rather work the fields
alone than sit in class writing papers. Jacob on the other hand is a new bright student who doesn’t fit the stereotypical makeover of a farm worker. He was the one student who to everyone’s surprise decided to quit his bank career and become a farmer. Through gorgeous impressionistic cinematography and pastoral ambiance, a delicate love story between two young men is formed. “Harvest” is one of the prettiest films of late, about the simplicity and
purity of first love. Director Benjamin Cantu won Siegessäule award at the 2011 Berlin Film Festival. of first love. Director Benjamin Cantu won Siegessäule award at the 2011 Berlin Film Festival.
