The GLBT community in Israel is one of the most successful in the western world. IT was not always this way. Through the lens of the personal diary of Yair Qedar, who followed the community as the editor of the GLBT newspaper “The Pink Time”, and using rare archive material, the film tells the story of a pink revolution – from the closet days, through the struggle for equal rights up to the crystallization of identity – through the people behind the scenes and those up front. This is a journey often emotional and sad, to the 80s and 90s – about people who changed their own lives, people who made a change.
