The groundbreaking debut feature by Jonathan Sagall that premiered at the Berlin and Toronto Film Festivals. Emanuel returns to Eva’s life after eight years of absence. Eva, now married to Robbie and a mother to 8-year-old Jonah, works part time at a used bookshop. The family is facing the abyss when the old flames of love spark between Emanual and Eva, threatening to send everyone’s senses into turmoil. Alcoholic Emanuel enters the family cell and shakes Robbie’s place where the latter suddenly finds himself in the arms of seductive Nelly. This film that deals with bi-sexuality won the top prize at the Haifa Film Festival and the Israeli Academy Awards for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress.
