Winner of the 2010 Teddy Jury Award at the Berlinale, this directorial debut is both lyrical and unique telling two stories simultaneously. Intersexed Cynthia works as a nurse at a plastic surgery clinic where she meets Gen and Jay who undergo surgery to physically resemble each other. Cynthia decides to leave her partner and leave on a journey with Gen while Jay flies home for a visit. Simultaneously, Transexual Syd falls for young gay Nick. When Syd finds out she’s pregnant they both leave on their own journey to examine the meaning of their relationship. the director is a guest of this year’s festival.
